Save an email as a draft
Save an email as a draft
You do not have to send a started email immediately. Save it as a draft when recipients, subject, text or attachments need to be completed later.
How to save a draft:
- Start a new email or open an existing draft.
- Enter the content you want to keep.
- Click Save as draft.
- Open the Drafts folder to continue editing the message later.
If automatic draft saving is enabled for your account, eclipso saves changes at regular intervals. When you open the compose window again, a notice may offer to load an automatically saved draft.
Continue editing drafts on multiple devices
Drafts are saved in your eclipso account and are therefore available in both the desktop version and the eclipso app for Android and iOS. For example, you can start an email on your computer, save it as a draft and continue editing it later in the app. You can also start a draft in the app and then open and edit it in the desktop version. Both access methods use the same data. You can also add attachments to a draft in the Attachments field with Add from a local source or eclipso Drive and confirm with OK. Local files can also be dragged into the compose area.
What happens when I send a draft?
Check all fields again before sending. After a successful send, the draft is removed depending on your settings and the sent message is stored in the Sent folder.Note: A draft has not been sent. Recipients receive a message only after you explicitly click Send email.
